Located in Central Maui, nestled at the base of the Central West Maui Mountains, Wailuku is a charming town full of historical sites, business and commerce.

Wailuku’s downtown area is also home to the Maui County’s seat of government.

Both new and historical homes can be found for sale in Wailuku.

Wailuku is one of the few areas on Maui where you can still find plantation-style homes, so it’s a great area for homebuyers looking to restore a historical Maui home.

In addition, there are many properties available in newer developments in the Maui Lani neighborhood, fantastic real estate opportunities in Wailuku Heights and sweet oceanfront properties near Waiehu Beach Road.

Wailuku residents are centrally located in relative to all parts of the island. Wailuku is conveniently located near many unique small businesses, including restaurants, boutiques, art galleries and coffee shops.

In and around Wailuku Town, you can also find a wonderful selection of Maui’s “mom & pop” restaurants, such as Stillwell’s Bakery & Cafe, Tasty Crust, Sam Sato’s, Miyako Sushi and the Millyard Hamb & Steak House.

Wailuku’s Main Street is home to a variety of historical storefronts full of new and legendary small businesses.

The bulk of Maui’s pawn shops are located in Wailuku Town, as well as boutiques, gift shops, yoga studios, cafe’s and juice bars, an awesome music store, restaurants and art galleries.

Every first Friday, residents and visitors congregate in and around Main Street in Wailuku for First Friday Wailuku festivities, including live music and performances, food vendors, keiki activities, a beer and wine garden, and shopping discounts.
